At Christ Church we see prayer as the number one priority and starting point of all that we do.

Jesus prayed, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent” (John 17:3). Nothing is more important than knowing God, so we are committed to pausing each day and praying:

  • Lord help me to know you better (for ourselves).
  • Lord help us to know you better (for the church).
  • Lord help them to know you better (for our family, friends and neighbours).

We encourage everyone in the church to at least once a month get together with other people to pray and each month provide three opportunities to do this in the church.

We meet to prayer before our Sunday services at 9.30 in the library in the church.
